Domain really necessary?
Today the world is on the internet, billions of people connect to the internet, having a domain gives you a show room to display anything you please. You could show off your company, your hobbies or just things you find interesting. It also provides you with a customized email address so you can impress your friends with a funny email address such as good@sendingemails.com but most of all the main reason to have a domain is it is so cheap and easy that the benefits far outweigh the minimal cost.
