Cloud hosting is the term used when resources from multiple servers are combined, these resources are then allocated to create a virtual server which can be set up and deployed almost instantly. This virtual server can host websites or online applications and can have the resources allocated to it raised or lowered at any time.
This virtual server behaves like a normal computer, it has an operating system installed such as Microsoft or Ubuntu.
